Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are a great method to earn gear, weapons and more. They're not easy to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a special slot that lets you bring pistols in to a mission. Some players use this to achieve certain goals and targets, particularly those who want to go for Suit Only. Some players utilize the extra pistol to close the gap. It's important to remember that to select the pistols in this slot, click on the button for the appropriate category such as machine guns in the alternate slot. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are in use, making it easier to use. This combo adds a damage tick every 10 seconds from Concealed Weapon as long as it is in the slot.

Smuggled Item Slot

The smuggled item slot is a great feature that allows players to bring tools and weapons into the game, but could be improved. It's currently shaped as a pistol, which makes it difficult to differentiate the smuggled weapon slot from other gear slots.

The smuggle slot can hold many different objects, ranging from simple concussion devices to explosives that are weapon-grade. These items can be found in a variety of hidden places around the map. They can be picked up at anytime. Smuggled items differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which hide only small items in the scenery or objects.

Mission planning is a feature available in episodic missions that lets players gain access to different starting points as well as smuggled items and gear popular casino slots prior to their entry into the map. These planning options increase as players advance through challenges and gain higher Mission Mastery levels. This gives players the ability to create the perfect mission for every challenge.

Gear Slot

In the beginning of the game, players will find their gear High-quality slots quickly become full, resulting in the dreaded "Your Gear Slots are Full" message which prevents Max from picking new equipment until old items are cleared or more space is found. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They offer more inventory space for completing challenges. However, as many of these challenges are scattered across the globe and are easily missed, it can take some time to get the maximum number of inventory top-rated slots available in-game.

The five Gear Slots of a player can be filled with up to five different gear types, which must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In can begin. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) is a part of one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as the grouping of Grenades) only uses one Gear Slot.

Agency pick-ups

As you progress in Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups throughout the map. These locations allow you to keep items that don't fit in your concealed weapon or gear slot and retrieve them later.

These pickups are useful in situations where your job requires you to go through a frisk or you have a weapon on you that could raise suspicion. You can only keep one item at a time at a location that is a pickup for the agency.

This DLC adds new contracts for security and asset protection to the agency. To begin these missions simply talk to the agency receptionist and purchase armor and snacks. Then, go to the mission marker and locate a mob upon arrival.
